More than 1,600 people, including 300 schoolchildren, attended the Los Angeles tour event on February 17, 2013. A sun-filled central courtyard hosted generations of families and friends and some extraordinary reunions, including two survivors who discovered they were on the same transport to Auschwitz. At the end of the day, attendees paid tribute to more than 300 Holocaust survivors and 80 veterans from Southern California.
